Porthgain Harbour’ Pembrokeshire
“The old harbourmaster’s cottage and the remains of the brickworks at this fascinating harbour is probably one the of most painted and photographed locations in the area. This was my first painting of Porthgain Harbour and I think shows the dramatic landscape, bold and vibrant colours of this popular hamlet. Being only 7 miles from the famous smallest City, St David’s, the harbour is really popular with visitors, having a lovely traditional pub, The Sloop, and the famous Shed fish and chip restaurant. Also, art galleries and it’s located in the heart of the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. It was even used for the filming of the 2017 comedy ‘Their Finest’ starring Bill Nighy.It is definitely one of my favourite places to visit and paint.” Lynda Griffiths (Lynartwales)
