Description

Porthgain Harbour

“Porthgain is a small coastal hamlet on the north coast of St Davids Peninsula, approximately 7 miles from the famous smallest City, St David’s.  The harbour is really popular with visitors, having a lovely traditional pub, The Sloop, and the famous Shed fish and chip restaurant.  Also, art galleries and it’s located in the heart of the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.  It was even used for the filming of the 2017 comedy ‘Their Finest’ starring Bill Nighy.It is definitely one of my favourite places to visit and paint. The harbour is unique and I have tried to capture this with my painting by showing the bold and vibrant colours” Lynda Griffiths (‘Lynartwales’)
