‘Fishguard Harbour’

“Lower Fishguard is home to the old and picturesque harbour known as Lower Fishguard or Cwm Harbour. It was also used for the filming of Dylan Thomas’ Under Milk Wood.and many other films.  Not surprising as the location is quaint, beautiful and steeped in history. This painting shows the lovely colour-washed cottages all along the harbour wall and the peaceful, quaint harbour. Just love it and as with all my paintings I try to reflect the bold colours of this beautiful part of the world.”  Lynda Griffiths
