“A Strange Light” is an ethereal abstract seascape oil painting 50 x 75cm (20 x 29.5 inches) on a 4cm (1.5 inch) deep canvas. Painted after spending time watching the sea in Hastings when the weather was grey and stormy and there was amazing light on the water. It’s titled from “Love is Like” by The Handsome Family.

It’s painted in shades of blue, black and white. The paint is layered and blended and textured in parts. The painting continues around the sides of the artwork and it is signed on the back. It’s ready to hang and comes with a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity.
