The focus of Rob’s art is deeply introspective, he is concerned to represent his landscapes in his very own style.
“Acrylic is my medium of choice, sometimes embellished with oils to give the colour extra vibrancy.
There are so many ways to apply the media I use.
I try to apply paint in the best way possible to achieve the sense of the place I am basing the work on.” Rob Edmondson
Rob has been involved in creative activities all his life. He taught Art for 40+ years at school and college level. Initially, he was a silk screen printer, then a ceramicist.
Throughout it all, he painted.
Since ‘retiring’ he has taken on two groups of students who love art, almost as much as he likes teaching them!

Rob tries to apply paint in the best way possible to achieve the sense of the place he is basing the work on….and the results are amazing!
